Ferrari To Keep Producing V-12 Engines Until They Are Banned‼️

Save the V-12s ‼️Right now that is the rallying cry of Ferrari as they have just proclaimed they will keep on building that until they are outlawed 😎However, this may not be as easy as it appears as increasing regulations on engine emissions may make it more challenging for V-12 engines to remain compliment with strict emission regulations, especially in the European Union.
The solution is rather obvious though: use a hybrid system. A mild hybrid system which is going to be found in the upcoming Porsche 911 992.2 would be the perfect pair for a Ferrari V-12 as it would decrease emissions while only increasing the vehicle weight by roughly 100 pounds. This decision is not only the right choice from the perspective of an enthusiast but also a business one. Supercar and Hypercar buyers want there cars to feel analog, unique, and special. The only way they can get this is through buying a car with a gasoline engine meaning Ferrari will likely sell more cars by keeping the V-12 around. Especially as more and more companies are electrifying their lineups.
Carlos Sainz Signs With Williams For 2025 F1 Season

Sainz has secured his future in F1 😎(not to anyone’s surprise of course). Ferrari chose to not keep Sainz on as a driver for next year and instead replaced him with Lewis Hamilton. Just like an episode of The Bachelor, Sainz had plenty of suitors with Williams, Sauber/Audi, and Alpine all wanting to get his signature on a contract for next year. However, Sainz picked Williams which was somewhat of a surprise as many expected him to join Audi given his father’s history with the brand. Sainz signed a two-year contract with the outfit which will see him wearing blue coveralls in the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Afterward, Sainz may choose to stick with Williams or make a move to a top team like Mercedes or Red Bull.
Williams is certainly on the up and up after having a disastrous last decade which saw the team slip from greatness as one of the most dominant Formula One Teams in the 1990s and early 2000s to being lucky to score a point all season. Now, with Alex Albon as his teammate, Willaims is going to have one of the best driver lineups of the grid, far outclassing their midfield competitors in the likes of RB, Haas, Alpine, and Sauber. Williams certainly may be on the verge of a comeback unlike Formula One has seen before.
Seat Manufacturer Recaro Has Reportedly Filed For Bankruptcy

Credit: Recaro
From the 911 GT3 to the Shelby Mustang GT500, Recaro seats have been a fixture of performance cars. Unfouratly, Recero was not able to live up to the performance their seats offer and has reportedly filed for bankruptcy in Germany. It is unknown how the bankruptcy proceedings will affect Recaro and their business. In fact, like beyond the face they filed for bankruptcy is even known as the information was only made public thanks to a report released by Autorcar. The employees may not have even known about the proceedings until the information was released in the media.
Recaro was sold in 2020 to a Detroit-based private investment firm where it was making approximately $150 million in annual revenue. Recaro stated the deal would benefit the company as it would enable them to focus exclusively on the design and manufacturing of seats and let their new owners handle the financials. Mismanagement likely occurred at the company after the sale but the exact specifics have not become available yet. As of now, we can only hope a fixture of the automotive industry will not bail on us.
Pagani Unveils The Utopia: An 852 HP Manual Roadster

Credit: Pagani
OH MY GOD 😍. Pagani has done it again and has released an absolutely stunning car. No one makes better cars than Pagani as they are all works of art that seamlessly blend incredibly craftsmanship and engineering. What is so impressive about the Utopia roadster is it has a nearly identical weight to its coupe counterpart unveiled back in 2022. This is all thanks to the Italian manufacturer redesigning the chassis to add increased rigidity without adding weight. This means the car weighs a relatively like 2822 pounds which is almost half the weight of the new M5.
The Utopia Roadster has a manual transmission which is connected to a 6.0-liter V-12 making 852 horsepower. The engine is handbuilt in Germany thanks to the expertise of Mercedes-AMG. One could also option the Utopia with an automatic transmission with paddle shifters although I think the manual really is the way to go in this car. Pagani has not released any performance figures at the time of writing besides the Utopia being electronically limited to a top speed of 217 mph. The Utopia truly is a beautiful car and I really do think it will scratch the analog itch many hypercar buyers have in today’s market.
1.8 Million Teslas Recalled Over Faulty Hood Latch

Credit: Tesla
In a rather hilarious turn of events, Tesla has recalled 1.8 million vehicles over faulty hood latches. If they fail, then it could cause the hood to open while driving obstructing the driver 😱. Tesla really can not catch a break especially after the Cybertruck stick pedal recalls a few months ago. Tesla has reportedly been investigating this issue since March after a series of random hood openings in Model Y and 3 vehicles in China. So far three reports have been confirmed in the United States.
To mitigate this issue, Tesla has pushed an over-the-air software update to let drivers know when the hood has been opened. Thankfully no reports of crashes or injuries have occurred due to this defect. If you own a 2021-2024 Model 3, X, S or a 2020-2024 Model Y please speak to local Tesla service center and schdule service. If left untouched, there is a serious chance a random hood opening could lead to a serious accident.
