LaFerrari Replacement Spotted Testing

It has been over a decade since Maranello unveiled the LaFerrari leaving us waiting a long eleven years for the replacement. In that eleven years, Ferrari has been going crazy with the development of the F250, the code name for the new model. Car and Driver’s Spy Photographer recently caught the F250 testing in Maranello. Previously, it had been spotted in March and last year in 2023 on a track.
The F250 mule spotted testing in Marenllo this weekend appears to be in the final form of the production car. Like most hypercars, it sports a low and wide design. Unlike the 12Cilindri, Ferrari’s upcoming V-12 supercar, the F250 will be powered by a V-6 engine paired with a hybrid powertrain. The F250 is rumored to make a whopping 1,000 + horsepower with a price tag of over $2 million. 🤯
Former Ferrari Team Boss Mattia Binnito to Lead Audi’s F1 Project

In just a mere four months since finalizing the takeover of the Sauber F1 team, Audi has been shaking up the team. Most notably this has been through Andreas Seidl, the current team principal poached from Mclaren leaving the team to make way for Mattia Binnito, the former Team Principal of Ferrari, to take up the mantle of team principal.
Sauber has had a rough year as the Swiss team has been the only Formula One team to not score a point all season. Currently, they are sitting in a miserable 10th place in the constructors championship in last place. While Audi has been successful in wooing Kevin Magnussen, who is committed to the project in the long term, they have been unsuccessful in wooing Carlos Sainz to the team, their main prospect for next year.
With Binnito coming to Sauber, Audi hopes he will be able to bring the long-term leadership the team needs to be competitive in Formula One. With him at Audi, joining Sauber for the 2025 season may be more attractive for Carlos Sainz. With Audi wanting to make a splash when they enter the grid in 2026, hopefully, Bennito has learned from his mistakes at Ferrari and Audi will not make the same silly mistakes.
Kia Tasman Rolls Around In The Dirt In New Promotional Video

In a recently released video, Kia has teased the offroad capabilities of its upcoming Tasman pickup rolling around in the California desert. The Tasman features a colorful and intricate livery which was first shown off in April when Kia revealed the first images of the truck to the public. Thankfully, the Tasman will not be a compact truck like the Hyundai Santa Cruz based on a car platform. It may also feature a 4-wheel drive system as an engineer in the video appears to instruct the driver to shift into 4-low for a steep descent.
The Tasman may share the same platform with the Kia Telluride which features a naturally-aspirated V6 producing 291 horses and 262 pound-feet of torque. Kia has confirmed the pickup will be available in Korea, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa but has not confirmed if it will be coming to the United States. The deciding factor will be where Kia produces the truck as that will determine the tariffs paid on importing it to the states. However, given how the US is obsessed with pickups, Kia will probably do their best to get the Tasman in the States.
The First M5 In the United States Will Be: ORANGE 🍊‼️

Credit: BMW
BMW’s heavy new BMW burst onto the scene last month sending Twitter into chaos as they realized it weighed more than a Sprinter van or an X7. BMW has just unveiled a fancy orange special edition which will be the first customer car at the US unveiling of the M5 at Pebble Beach in August. The M5 Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance (a very French name for a German Company), is customized by BMW Individual with a Frozen Orange Metallic Paint. This paint will only appear on this special M5 and is supposed to mimic the sunsets in Pebble Beach.
This special edition M5 also features orange accents on its M Sports wheels to add to the orange theme. Inside, the car features custom M Sport seats in Silverstone white leather with Kyalami Orange Accents. The interior also features specialized Pebble Beach logos on the seats and dashing making the car feel extra special. The car also features $57,000 worth of options including BMW’s Hand Free Driving Assitance Package. Although, I am not sure why anyone would want this feature on an M5 as an M5 is meant to be driven. 🙄
If you want to own this car, it will be auctioned off at the Pebble Beach Car Show on August 16th by Gooding & Company. All of the profits will go towards the Pebble Beach Company Foundation which works to enhance literacy in Monterrey County.
Jeep Has a Stock Problem as The Wrangler Faces Its First Real Test in Decades

Baseball, Apple Pie, and Jeep. All of these things are as American as the Star Spangled Banner, yet the Wrangler, Jeep’s American Icon is facing it first real challenge in sales in decades. Jeep has 48,000 2023 models still on dealership lots with over 2,000 new 2022 models remaining unsold. New 2024 models are through the roof as tens of thousands of Jeep cars across the country are in search of a new owner. On average, it takes 60-70 days for a new car to be sold, yet some Jeep models are taking as long as 330 days to sell.
Jeep’s sinking sales come at a time when they are facing tougher and tougher competition from the likes of the Ford Bronco. Even Mercedes is rumored to get on the action with them potentially unveiling a new off-roader at a similar pricepoint dubbed the “Baby G”. If Jeep wants to remain the King of offroaders, they truly need to innovate. In a tougher market with more competition, nostalgia may not be enough to save them this time.
