Meet the Nile HyperCar, The Ram 1500 Will No Longer Come With A Semi V-8 & More !!️
What’s up Throttle Heads 😎. Welcome back to another newsletter. It is the week before Monterrey Car Week so the news has been a little light this week but we still have some exciting content for you guys.
Meet The Nilu Hyopercar: A 1070 Horsepower Manual Transmission Naturally Aspirated V-12 Beast 🔥

A naturally aspirated V-12 and a manual transmission⁉️⁉️In 2024‼️‼️Yep, you read that correctly. The Hilu Hypercar, designed by Nilu27 delivers exactly that. It gets even better because not only is that transmission a seven-speed but the V-12 is exposed. The two-seater car also features NACA-style ducts as it combines classic supercar styling elements with lightweight subtube subframes and a carbon composite tub.
Something cool about the V-12 is since it is naturally aspirated, this means there are no turbochargers, superchargers, or electrical assists involved. This means the engine is in its purest form possible and is going to be an amazing driving experience. Nilu27 collaborated with Hartley Engines in New Zealand to develop a 6.5 liter V-12 beast making 1070 horsepower with a redline above 10,000 rpm. They also helped create the eye-catching 12-into-1 3-D printed exhaust system. The Hilu Hypercar should have a top speed of nearly 250 miles per hour and a 0-60 time under three seconds.
Nilu 27 plans to publicly debut the car on August 15th at Pebble Beach. The initial production car will be limited to just 15 cars which will be assembled in Irvine, California. Plans include a 54-plan car frum of street-legal versions. Honestly, this car is amazing and I hope Nilu27 sticks around to become a leading hypercar brand similar to Pagani.
Ram 1500 Will No Longer Come With A V-8 Engine

The Ram 1500 V-8 is beginning to last to rest 😭😭. The Hemi V-8 lived on in Classic trim level, a continuation of the previous Ram 1500 from before 2019. The older truck stuck around as a more affordable and bare-bones option aiming for buyers looking for a work truck. However, since it is being discontinued, it will now mean the Hemi V-8 will no longer be found in a Ram 1500 as it does not appear in the new generation.
The 2024 Ram 1500 Classic was offered in two trims: the Tradesman and the Warlock with a starting price of $34,240. The old classic will be replaced by a new one based on the current generation Ram 1500. However, the new Tradesman significantly increases the price to $42,270 which may price some buyers out of the market, especially as truck prices have soared over the past decade. The truck will now come standard with the Hurricane twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six. This is a great engine although it does not have the same pizzazz as a Hemi V-8.
This Rolls Royce Spectre One-Off Is Very Yellow 🍋

With Monterrey Car Week being upon us, the most insane and sick concept cars are beginning to make their way out of the stables. Rolls Royce was one of the first companies to do so with the reveal of the Rolls-Royce Spectre Semaphore. This magnificent beast is a one-off take on the brand’s first electric car. What is so cool about this car is not only does it feature a bright yellow paint job but also some very sick artwork adorning the hood. Dubbed the “Marble Paint Spill”, it is described by Rolls Royce as being a tribute to the Golden State and its diverse environment.
The inside of the car matches the bright yellow exterior with a combination of Lewon and Cistrine Yellow splashed crossed the seats, door panels, and dashboard. The other surfaces’ insights are finished in Grace White and Slate Grey accented by Lemon Yellow stitching. The cabin also features a wood trim painted in Cashmere Grey and infused with silver mica flakes to create a sparkling effect. After writing all of that I think it is safe to say this car is too fancy for me. The Spectre’s dual-motor powertrain has been untouched in the Semaphore with it still producing 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. While Rolls Royce has yet to release the price, it is safe to say it will be in the millions.
Automobil Pininfarina Unveils The B95 Gotham: A Batman-Inspired Supercar

Italian luxury EV manufacturer Automobil Pininfarina just pulled the tarp on one of the most unique cars to ever grace the earth: the B95 Gotham. Inspired by Batman and Bruce Wayne, this one-off EV Hypercar pays homage to the Dark Knight on his 85th anniversary. This vehicle is inspired by the lifestyle of Bruce Wayne with his passion for innovation and all things to do with the color black. The B95 Gothan is part of a collection of other Batman-inspired EVs which include the Batista Dark Knight and Gotham.
What is so cool is Pininfarina has taken extra care to make it feel like the car belongs in the world of Gotham City as they have added the Wayne Industries Logo to the car on the hood, steering wheel, and wheels. The inside features a sick tan leather and a virtual assistant which is inspired by Alfred, Bruce’s loyal butler. The B95 Gotham is a beast when it comes to performance as it sports 1,900 horsepower with a 0-60 time of under two seconds. This truly is a sick EV and I would certainly take the B95 over a Tesla any day of the week.
