Out With the Gas Motor, In With the Electric Motor: The New Audi A6

Audi is shaking things up as the brand adds more electric to its lineup. Something else the brand is shaking up is its confusing naming scheme as even numbers such as the A6 are now being assigned to all-electric vehicles. Traditionally, the A6 is powered by a gasoline or diesel engine but it has now visited one of Beverly Hill’s best plastic surgeons and morphed into a sweet all-electric sedan.

The new A6 is built on Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform which other Audi electric vehicles like the Q6 e-tron SUV are also built upon. Besides sporting a slick new look, which grants the car an impressive drag coefficient of 0.21 which is one of the best in the industry. Something that is also pretty dope about the new Audi A6 is the ability to add illuminated front and rear Audi logos 🔥

The Audi’s A6 range has not yet been finalized by testing regulators such as the EPA but it is estimated to go somewhere between 350-400 miles which will exceed many of its competitors such as the i4. The car will do 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. The A6 also features Audis innovative camera mirrors which were launched with the Audi e-tron in 2019. However, virtual mirrors will not be available in the US yet due to regulations still requiring all new cars to be sold with physical mirrors.

Ford Revives The Street Trick With The Dope 2025 Maverick Lobo

After years of only designing performance trucks for the sand and rocks, Ford is taking a different approach with the unveiling of the Ford Maverick Lobo 😎. I have to say, this truck is sick 🔥. While the performance changes are not major compared to the standard Maverick, the appearance of the truck certainly is different. The Lobo gets a unique front bumper as well as a different grill than the other Maverick trims which is finished in the body color of the truck. Sleek aerofan-style wheels came as standard with more traditional ones being available as an option. Although, I am not sure why since these wheels are dope. Inside, the Maverick features Grabber Blue and Electric Lime.

The performance upgrades include paddle shifters to make manual shifting gears much easier than just using buttons. The suspension is lower and retuned with the front dropping by 0.5 inches and the rear by 1.12 inches. Overall, the roofline is lowered by 0.8 inches. The brakes are upgraded with dual-piston rotors from the European Ford Focus ST. The Maverick also features a unique seven-speed transmission with a dual-clutch which is unavailable on the other Maverick trim levels. Despite these immense upgrades, the powerplant remains unchanged with it having the same numbers as the standard Maverick.

Land Rover Discountines Steel Wheels, But You Won’t Notice

NOOOOOOOO‼️‼️‼️‼️Land Rover has just discontinued Steel Wheels are the 2025 Defender 😭😭. Beloved by many for their simple yet rugged appearance, it is a bummer to see Land Rover remove them from the Defender as they were so iconic. However, they were replaced with something that might be even better: aluminum wheels that look like steel wheels. Now hear me out, one of the big issues with steel wheels is how heavy they are which can reduce performance. Alinuiuem wheels which look like steelies are eight pounds lighter and provide the same iconic looks.

Dubbed the Type 9013, these 20-inch steelies can be ordered by optioning the Country exterior pack which costs an eyewatering $5950. This pack also features a very interesting livery of a two-tone white and Tasman blue paint scheme. With the aluminum wheels coming in at 31.96 pounds compared to 39.85 pounds for the Steelies, they should greatly improve handling and vehicle dynamics. With these new wheels hitting the city streets, you will soon find them in a Land Rovers true home: at a Whole Foods parking lot in Los Angeles.

Honda Is Taking Its First Concept Car to Pebble Beach

Designed by the famed Italian coachmaker Pininfarina, the 1984 Honda HP-X is coming out of the stables for the first time in decades to make an appearance at the Pebble Beach car show next week. The HP-X is a car that is regarded deeply by many at Honda due it not only being the first concept car Honda ever produced but also laying the groundwork for the brand’s renowned NSX supercar.

In the 1980s, the brand was looking to break out of its comfort zone and do something it had never done before; build a supercar rivaling the best of Europe. In 1983, Honda entered Formula One as the first step toward this goal. Just a year later in 1984, they commissioned Pininfarina to build the HP-X which stands for Honda Pininfarina - eXperimental.

The car served as a way for Honda to test out advanced technologies such as advanced tech such as honeycomb panels, carbon fiber, as well as early versions of GPS. Honda would use the rest of the decade to refine the design with the production version, the NSX, being revealed in 1989 and going on sale in 1990.
